Privacy note
the short version: this site stores nothing about you unless you leave something — an address, a note — and then it stores exactly that. the party pool stores totals, not people.

No tracking. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no fonts or scripts from other companies, and embeds nothing from other servers. Every request stays between your browser and this server.
The party pool. If you send a party to the Gathering, your browser keeps the three hero IDs in its local storage so it can remember your choice and let you replace it. The server stores only the combined totals for each trio. It stores no browser key, IP address, user agent, account, or submission time for this feature. When you choose again, the browser sends the old trio once so its count can move to the new one. Clearing this site’s browser data forgets your choice locally; the anonymous total cannot be linked back to you.
Server logs. The hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security purposes. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure service). These logs are the hoster's; they are deleted on the hoster's usual schedule.
The mailing list. If you leave an e-mail address at the fire, this site stores the address, the moment you submitted it, the moment you confirmed it, and a random code that the confirmation and unsubscribe links are built from. No IP address, no name, nothing else. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6 (1) a GDPR.
Signing up sends one mail to that address with a link in it, and nothing else is ever sent until you open that link — it is how this site knows the address belongs to whoever typed it. An address that is never confirmed is deleted automatically after two weeks. The confirmed address is used for a small number of mails about the game's release — no advertising for anything else, and it is never shared or sold. Every mail carries an unsubscribe link, and replying to one works just as well; either way nothing more is sent, and all that is kept is the note that you asked to be left alone.
The ideas door. If you leave a note at the ideas door, this site stores the note and the moment it arrived. An e-mail address is stored only if you leave one for an answer — no IP address, no name, nothing else. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6 (1) a GDPR. One person reads the notes. If a note is answered in the open, it is usually re-told in the site’s own words — your exact words or your name appear only if you were asked first, by mail, and said yes. The address is used to answer you and then deleted, at the latest after six months; the note itself may be kept longer, with nothing in it that points to you. The address is never added to the mailing list. If a note contains personal details you want gone, one mail to the contact address above is enough.
Your rights. You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. One mail to the contact address above is enough.
