Patch 08-06
Polish day: a screenshot audit cleaned up 28 rough edges, and two larger features arrived with it.
- NEW: Parties — the record of who walked together. Your twelve heroes can form 220 different trios, and the Compendium now remembers every one: never run, tried, or finished the road. A new deed rides along —
a new three, for finishing with a trio that never has. The Compendium percentage may be lower because it now has 220 new party records to discover. - Loot knows who you brought. Shop shelves and battle chests now lean toward the classes actually in your party — a triple-mage party sees roughly three times the mage gear it used to. It's a supply fix, not a power boost: running one of each class was fine all along, running three of one was quietly being starved. Off-class gear still shows up, on purpose.
- Options got its own room. No more stock bottom sheet with toggle switches and toasts. Volume is eight cells you can count, tap or drag. The game finally ships at full loudness, and the new strips make it easy to set the level you want.
- Erasing your save got scarier in the right way. No popup — the row itself arms:
KEEP IT … ERASE, with KEEP IT sitting exactly where your finger just was. Six seconds and it stands down. - The Camp: light the other fires. The six cold rings can now seat your own legacy cards — pick one, its fire lights, its three heroes wander around it. Still a draft of the real thing, still honest about it.
- The boss's wound bar, take two: one bar, twenty layers. Yesterday's ten stacked bars ate the panel and drained like syrup. Now one bar drains fast, breaks often, and refills from the layer visibly waiting beneath — with a
×Ncounting what's left. A killing week pops twenty times. - NEW: The Clearing. The storm finally gets its exhale — one beat between the final kill and the spoils: the road east again, the rain thinning to nothing.
The storm passes. - 28 screenshot findings worked through, among them: the deed recap no longer prints across the trait ceremony, the pre-battle briefing fits on screen again (your third hero was below the fold — on the final boss), buttons stopped wearing cold platform borders, prices speak one language, and merchants stopped posting toast messages over their own exit.
- The best fix: the camp was invisible. The new rain layer's "no rain" branch quietly collapsed the whole camp scene to a size of zero — on every round outside the storm. The rain is sorry.
- Battles remain deliberately busy: quips can still cover a name and damage numbers still pile up. The fight is the one loud place in a calm game; that energy stays.
