Patch 08-23
Hold three places and a question mark appears two regions away. Mountain ranges decide how you reach it.
- Mountains now shape the journey. Ridges cross the country, broad massifs hold a single pass, and lone peaks still appear between them. Most ground remains open, the country around the camp is clear, and every region keeps a route toward home.
- The light reveals the ranges. Mountains become visible and tappable when known ground reaches them. Beyond the frontier, land and rock share the same faint outline until exploration reveals what is there.
- A distant landmark gives the frontier a direction. Once three places are held, one landmark two regions away appears as a question mark. It offers no shortcut or remote action; reaching it means building a route across the map.
- The tile page keeps the ground in view. Clear sections separate who is here, who is approaching, the dark, the garrison, and available actions. The map lifts the chosen tile above the page, while a hollow square marks any unopened find.
- Scout groups are easier to divide. Choose steps of 1, 10, or 100 alongside
NEEDEDandALL. Long source lists show the nearest or largest ten and tell you how many more are available. - Every journey has one clear destination. Only one legacy can approach a tile at a time. A defeated party walks back to its previous position, while FINDS and THE DARK now lead directly to the relevant tile and its actions.
